Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to provide high-quality support to individuals in their own homes. Previous experience in care homes or home care settings is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. All positions are paid, including internships, and offer flexible working hours to suit your needs.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Supporting clients with mobility and transfers safely and confidently
• Helping with household chores including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
• Administering medication as per care plans and ensuring adherence to health protocols
• Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Maintaining accurate records of care provided in accordance with organisational policies
• Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure personalised care

Skills

• Valid driving licence and ability to drive clients when required
• Experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not necessary as training will be provided
• Proficiency in basic IT skills for documentation purposes
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Compassionate attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
• Organised and reliable with the ability to manage time effectively
• Ability to adapt to different client needs and situations with sensitivity
