General Labourer job at Newport Pagnell Full Time

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable General Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of outdoor and indoor tasks centred around construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills within a dynamic environment, supporting the upkeep and enhancement of various sites. Applicants should be prepared to work in diverse weather conditions and undertake physically demanding tasks with attention to safety and quality standards.

We are starting a new project in Newport Pagnell – we hope to find general labourers who can assist with this project (initial period 3 months) and if all goes well, move onto other projects we have in the surrounding areas for a longer working relationship.

Duties

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment such as excavators for construction or landscaping projects.
• Carry out general site preparation, including clearing debris, digging, and material movement.
• Assist skilled tradespersons with specialised tasks as required
• Follow health and safety procedures diligently during all activities to minimise risks on site.

Skills

• Ability to perform physical labour consistently over extended periods.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Strong teamwork ethic combined with the ability to work independently when necessary.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations related to construction and outdoor work environments. The role requires a proactive attitude, physical resilience, and a commitment to safety standards at all times.
