Duties

• Assisting with landscape maintenance, including planting, pruning, and lawn care
• Operating hand tools and power tools safely for various tasks such as digging, cutting, and assembling
• Using excavators and other machinery for site preparation and earthworks
• Installing and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure efficient water distribution
• Supporting construction activities by moving materials, assisting with site setup, and cleaning work areas
• Performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
• Assisting with gardening and horticultural tasks to promote healthy plant growth
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times

Skills

• Previous experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is advantageous
• Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of machinery such as excavators and power tools
• Proficiency in using hand tools for various labouring tasks
• Ability to operate or learn how to operate machinery such as excavators and other construction equipment
• Strong understanding of site safety procedures and maintenance practices
• Good organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
• Physical fitness to perform manual labour over extended periods in outdoor environments
