An academic is needed to assist an international student during the first year of their PhD programme in Education. This will involve close consultation, mentoring and intellectual discussion with the student.
The ideal candidate will hold a PhD from the University of Cambridge or a DPhil from the University of Oxford in the field of Education, and will have research interests including empowerment, gender and sociological theory.
This assignment is part-time and will include approximately one two-hour session per week during the month of June. The assignment could potentially extend into further support during the programme for the right candidate. The current role can be done either in person, in central London or Cambridge, or remotely with online and telephone communication.
The role is available for a candidate to start immediately.
Pay: £50.00-£60.00 per hour
