Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilising to uphold the visual appeal of outdoor spaces.
• Operate a range of power tools, hand tools, and specialised equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems to carry out construction and maintenance activities.
• Assist with installation, repair, and upkeep of irrigation systems to ensure efficient water management.
• Conduct routine inspections of horticultural features and mechanical equipment, performing basic repairs or reporting issues for specialised attention.
• Support gardening projects by planting new flora, mulching beds, and maintaining existing greenery according to best practices.
• Contribute to general site maintenance including debris removal, soil preparation, and organisation of tools and materials.
• Collaborate with team members on larger construction tasks related to landscape development or renovation projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge related to garden machinery, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and maintenance will be advantageous.
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently in various outdoor settings.
• Basic understanding of construction principles relevant to landscaping projects.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical fitness suitable for outdoor labouring tasks over extended periods.
• A valid driver’s licence is beneficial but not essential. Candidates should be organised, proactive, and committed to maintaining high standards in outdoor environments.
