Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team, supporting our ground workers, in a variety of construction, and maintenance projects. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of outdoor and indoor tasks, contributing to the upkeep and development of various sites. This position offers hands-on experience in Ground works and general construction activities, providing an excellent opportunity for those looking to develop practical skills within the industry.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with drainage, excavation, foundations and general construction
• Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various tasks
• Supporting excavation activities using excavators and other machinery
• Installing and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution
• Performing general maintenance duties such as cleaning, repairs, and site preparation
• Assisting with construction tasks including material handling and site clearance
• Ensuring work areas are safe, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
• Supporting team members with specialised tasks

Skills

• Experience or interest in Ground works
• Ability to operate excavators or similar machinery (training provided if necessary)
• Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness to undertake manual labour in various weather conditions
