Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and versatile General Labourer / All-Rounder to join our team in Mansfield. You’ll support our Bricklayer and Joiner on a variety of projects, so this is ideal for someone with solid building experience who enjoys varied, hands-on work.

Responsibilities

• Labouring to a Bricklayer and Joiner on site
• Assisting with general site maintenance, general building tasks and site preparation to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
• Loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or injury
• Supporting construction or manufacturing activities as required, including basic assembly or preparation tasks
• Operating manual tools and power equipment safely and effectively where appropriate
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including waste disposal and tidying workstations
• Following health and safety protocols at all times to minimise risks on site

Experience

• Previous experience in Building/Construction environments is essential
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks over extended periods
• Good all round practical skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different roles as needed
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to manual handling and site operations
• Full driving licence preferred (an advantage but not essential)

Rate of pay to be discussed, depending on experience.
