Overview

We’re seeking an organised, proactive, and personable Construction Project Coordinator to support the delivery of a range of construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.

This role will involve assisting with project coordination, procurement, scheduling, client communication, and day-to-day operational support across the business. The successful candidate will work closely with directors, site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and clients to help ensure projects are delivered efficiently, professionally, and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction projects.
• Support the preparation and management of project programmes and schedules.
• Coordinate procurement activities and monitor material and subcontractor lead times.
• Act as an initial point of contact for new project enquiries and assist with pre-construction coordination.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to maintain effective communication throughout projects.
• Monitor project progress and assist in identifying potential delays, risks, or coordination issues.
• Assist with the preparation and management of project documentation, reports, meeting notes, and records.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of health & safety procedures across projects.
• Attend site meetings and assist with general project coordination activities where required.
• Help maintain quality standards and ensure works are carried out in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
• Provide general operational and administrative support to the wider project team where required.

Requirements

• Previous experience within the construction industry is preferred.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and professional approach with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general project management software.
• Understanding of construction processes and health & safety requirements.
• Experience with project scheduling software would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field are advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £28,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
