We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Support residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
• Help implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs
• Monitor and record residents’ health status, reporting any concerns to senior staff
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as required
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the care environment
• Support with medication administration following prescribed guidelines (training provided)
• Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and team members to ensure coordinated care

Skills

• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a care home or home care setting
• Basic IT skills for recording documentation and updating care plans
• Driving licence is desirable for roles involving home visits or community-based care
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in caring for others
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and adhere to health and safety protocols
