Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part-time Barista to join our vibrant team at Butler’s Retreat in Chingford, London E4 (note this is not a central London). The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop barista skills, work flexible hours, and be part of a welcoming community. The position involves preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold drinks, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a range of beverages including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks according to company standards
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service, and providing excellent hospitality to our guests
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and dining area
• Follow food safety protocols to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimise wait times

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Barista is essential
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work part-time hours, including weekends if required
• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
