Ria’s is fresh on the London pizza scene, baking our signature Detroit-style pizza in the heart of Notting Hill. In the 12 months since launching we’ve been nominated as one of best new openings in 2024 by ShereLux, ranking in the top 50 UK pizza restaurants by The Times and top 3 in London TImeout.

It’s an exciting opportunity to join our fast growing team as a Kitchen Assistant/Kitchen Porter, working closely with the kitchen team to continue to build a smooth kitchen operation and take Ria’s to the next level.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring all work areas, utensils, and equipment are clean and sanitised.
• Operate the dishwasher and manage the cleaning of pots, pans, and kitchen tools.
• Help with simple food preparation, such as salads, potatoes and garnishes
• Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling in line with kitchen procedures.
• Assist in keeping fridges, freezers, and dry storage organised.
• Work efficiently to support smooth kitchen service during busy periods.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
• Carry out any other duties reasonably requested by the Head Chef or Manager to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen.
• Opportunity to train up as a Pizza Chef

Experience / Requirements

• Can-do attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain focus under pressure
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Excited about working in a start-up environment and having opportunities to make an impact from the beginning
