Trade Counter Sales Assistant – Heating & Plumbers Merchant (South Ruislip)

We are a well-established, family-run retail business in South Ruislip, proudly serving both trade and retail customers for over 20 years. Specialising in heating & plumbing supplies, bathrooms, kitchen and tiles. We’ve built a strong reputation for excellent customer service, quality products and a welcoming atmosphere.

We are now looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trade Counter Sales Assistant.

The job roles:

• Assisting customers over the trade counter and providing excellent customer service
• Replenishing and organising stock on shelves
• Handling telephone enquiries professionally
• Placing light product orders with suppliers
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the plumbing trade counter

What we are looking for:

• A positive, punctual and hardworking attitude
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable using a desktop computer (full EPOS training will be provided)
• A background in construction, plumbing, heating, or a keen interest in DIY is preferred
• Someone who enjoys working as part of a friendly team
• Any previous experience of trade counter sales would be highly regarded for this application
