Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
• Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity
• Follow individualised care plans to meet specific needs and preferences
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Administer medication as prescribed and document accordingly
• Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines
• Assist with light domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation
• Drive clients to appointments or outings when required

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
• Valid driving licence is preferred for home visits
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Basic IT skills for recording care activities and updating records
• Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, organised, and attentive to detail

This role is ideal for individuals committed to delivering compassionate care while developing their skills within the health and social care sector. All positions are paid, including internships.

Pay: £16.98-£21.05 per hour
