We are looking for a motivated, confident, and highly enthusiastic individual to join our busy office team in Middleton on Sea. Working directly with the business owner and site teams, you will need to be highly organised, capable of working independently, and comfortable managing a variety of administrative tasks.
This is a temporary position with an option to transition into a permanent role if you are the right fit for our growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
Communication: Act as a key point of contact, speaking directly and professionally to our internal site teams as well as directly to external clients over the phone and via email.
Organisation & Task Management: Managing daily job tasks efficiently from a structured list, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
Workflow Administration: Organising ongoing jobs, contacting customers, writing and sending invoices, and creating quotes.
Documentation: General administration tasks, precise record-keeping, and solid file management.
Operational Support: Completing essential documents for work orders, including method statements, risk assessments, and planning applications.
Systems Improvement: Helping to review, develop, and improve our current business and office systems to support our rapid growth.
Requirements & Skills:
Computer Literacy: Competent computer skills are essential, including confidence in writing professional emails, using Microsoft Excel, and creating documents.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
Leadership & Decision Making: Strong leadership skills and confident decision-making abilities to help manage workflow and work independently.
Independence: You must be comfortable working alone roughly 50% of the time, and closely with team members for the remainder.
