What are we looking for?

We are looking for a self-motivated, bright individual that is willing to learn new skills. We do offer training to medicines counter assistants wishing to do the dispensing course and to those wanting a fresh challenge. The applicant must have good customer service skills and the ability to work as a team and independtly. Working hours are flexible.

Job Role

Roles of the job include:

-Responding to customer queries in relation to prescription medicines

– Maintaining stock levels in dispensary

-Answering patient queries about minor ailments

– Assembling and dispensing prescriptions

– Ordering patient’s medications

– Liaising with GP surgeries about repeat prescriptions.

– Oppotunities to carry out blood pressure checks and vaccinations. Training to be provided

-Assembling blister packs
