Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and organised Adult Day Centre Coordinator to oversee daily operations at our community-based centre dedicated to senior care. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing a supportive environment for older adults, including those with dementia and Alzheimer’s, ensuring their wellbeing and engagement. Duties

• Coordinate daily activities and programmes tailored to the needs of elderly clients, including those with dementia or Alzheimer’s.
• Supervise and support care staff, ensuring high standards of assisted living and caregiving.
• Develop personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and families.
• Facilitate engaging social, recreational, and therapeutic activities that promote mental and physical wellbeing.
• Monitor residents’ health and behaviour, reporting any concerns promptly to relevant healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, activities, and care documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Foster positive communication with clients, families, and team members to ensure personalised and respectful care delivery.
• Ensure the centre adheres to health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.

Experience

• Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments, preferably within senior or dementia care settings.
• Strong background in caring for older adults, with specific knowledge of Alzheimer’s and dementia care practices.
• Previous caregiving or care home experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with seniors, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with person-centred care approaches and behavioural management strategies for individuals with cognitive impairments.

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
