At Data Vitality, we support general practices by streamlining clinical correspondence, coding accuracy, and medical record summarisation. As a Healthcare Documentation & Coding Associate, you will help ensure GP records are accurate, complete, and coded to the highest standards — making a direct impact on patient safety and practice efficiency.
What You’ll Do:
- Review clinical documents (e.g., hospital letters, pathology results) and assign appropriate codes using systems like SystmOne or EMIS
- Workflow clinical actions to the appropriate team members (e.g., GP, Nurse, Receptionist) based on practice protocols
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all documentation
- Collaborate with internal audit teams to ensure high standards and quality of work
- Support practices in meeting key NHS targets like QOF and IIF through coding optimisation
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of experience using EMIS or SystmOne within a GP setting
- Strong understanding of Read/SNOMED coding and workflow protocols
- Confident analysing medical terminology and patient histories
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Comfortable working remotely and managing time effectively
- Right to work in the UK

Pay: £26,436.80-£29,120.00 per year
