Regional Sales Head job at Padstow Full Time NEW

The Regional Sales Head is responsible for driving sales growth, market expansion, distributor management, and revenue achievement across the assigned region. The role involves leading the regional sales team, developing business strategies, strengthening channel networks, and ensuring achievement of sales targets in line with company objectives.

Sales & Business Development

• Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve business targets.
• Drive primary and secondary sales growth across assigned territories.
• Identify new market opportunities, dealer/distributor expansion, and retail penetration.
• Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.

Channel & Distributor Management

• Appoint and manage distributors, super stockists, and channel partners.
• Build strong relationships with key distributors and major retail accounts.
• Ensure distributor profitability, stock rotation, and inventory management.
• Monitor product availability and market coverage.

Team Management

• Lead, train, and motivate Area Sales Managers, Sales Officers, and field sales teams.
• Conduct regular market visits and performance reviews.
• Set KPIs and monitor team productivity.
• Support recruitment and development of sales manpower.

Market Execution

• Ensure proper implementation of promotional activities and trade schemes.
• Improve brand visibility and merchandising standards in the market.
• Coordinate with marketing teams for product launches and campaigns.
• Ensure execution excellence across GT, MT, HoReCa, and retail channels.

MIS & Reporting

• Analyze sales reports, market feedback, and business performance.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and regional business plans.
• Track collections, outstanding payments, and credit control.
• Submit regular reports to management with actionable insights.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of FMCG / Food Industry sales operations.
• Expertise in distributor handling and channel sales management.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Market analysis and business planning capability.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, and sales reporting tools.
• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• MBA preferred.

Pay: £50,951.91-£92,185.37 per month
