Job Purpose:
The Team Leader will be responsible for five direct staff and supporting the Dept with issues that they may encounter while specialising in AP using Concur & Sun. Ensuring a high level of accuracy and achieving deadlines to ensure the whole dept runs effectively.
To ensure day to day compliance with the systems and controls, established by the firm and to ensure compliance with FCA Rules CASS 5.4
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure AP is processed on an accurate and timely basis. Resolve complicated AP queries on the Concur and Sun accounting system.
Monitor, manage and motivate a team of 5 finance operations staff, ensuring workloads covered during absence and monthly 121’s conducted.
Ensure all required Bank Reconciliations are generated daily by the team.
Ensure high level of communication within the department, working with other team leaders and escalating any problems to Head of Finance & Head of Finance Operations
Assisting with the Internal & External Audits (Financial and CASS Audits)
Support staff with any client money cashiering responsibilities.
Ad hoc as per Head of Finance / Head of Finance Operations
Compliance:
Comply with relevant legal, regulatory and Ardonagh Specialty compliance requirements, Errors and Omissions (E&O) compliance procedures and quality initiatives.
Skills Required:
Develop and sustain good working relationships with internal and external clients.
Ability to work supportively and jointly with colleagues.

Ability to work under pressure when necessary.
Ability to prioritise and organise own workload to ensure that deadlines are adhered to
Accurate data input skills
Expert in Concur Solutions for all aspects of Supplier Invoices and Staff Expenses
Expert in SUN System
Experience with multiple Banking Platforms
