Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with health and safety standards
• Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas
• Prepare ingredients and assist with basic cooking tasks under supervision
• Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times
• Serve meals to customers or staff in a courteous and professional manner
• Help with stock rotation, inventory checks, and restocking supplies as needed
• Follow hygiene standards diligently to uphold the quality of food served
• Support catering events by preparing and serving food as required

Skills

• Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable
• Strong understanding of food preparation and kitchen safety procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour when serving customers or staff
