Waste Crime and Litter Policy Advisor job at London Full Time NEW

We’re looking for a Waste Crime and Litter Policy Advisor for our public sector client on a 12-month contract (Inside IR35).

This role is hybrid, with 3 days per week on-site at one of the following locations: Bristol, London, Newcastle or York.

The successful candidate will come from a local authority, community organisation or NGO background and will bring real operational experience of litter prevention, fly-tipping enforcement and waste crime to influence national policy and programme design. This is a genuine opportunity to ensure community and local authority perspectives sit at the heart of how policy is developed and delivered.

You will need proven experience working with the following:

• Local authority waste and recycling operations, including litter enforcement and community engagement
• Tackling waste crime and fly-tipping prevention strategies at a local or regional level
• Designing and delivering litter prevention campaigns or enforcement programmes
• Developing policy recommendations and presenting options to senior stakeholders
• Working collaboratively across multi-agency or interdisciplinary teams
