Warehouse & Dispatch Operator

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse & Dispatch Operator to join our production team.
About the Role
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for picking, packing, dispatch, stock handling, powder coating, parts assembly and general warehouse operations. You’ll play an important part in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, weigh, and prepare customer orders accurately
- Complete and maintain dispatch paperwork and transport documentation
- Ensure all delivery dockets and paperwork are signed before goods leave site
- Record serial numbers and maintain accurate inventory records
- Label and stage orders ready for customer pickup or freight collection
- Receive, unload, unpack, and check incoming goods against documentation
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- The assembly of hydraulic gearboxes
- Powder coating fabricated parts
- Assist with stock put-away and maintain warehouse organisation
- Conduct regular stock checks and support stocktakes
- Ensure goods are stored and labelled correctly
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
- Deliver goods to customers using company vehicles when required
- Work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and Factory Manager to maintain inventory accuracy
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures at all times
- Assist with additional warehouse duties as required
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Experience with inventory systems and warehouse processes
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Current forklift licence
- Current and valid driver’s licence
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
