Freelance Site Manager Required – Salford Quays
Recruit 4 Construction are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager for an 8-week contract commencing in the first week of June.
The role is based on a major construction development in Salford Quays working for a respected subcontractor operating within a fast-paced live project environment.
We are specifically looking for an individual who is not afraid to be visible on site and actively drive works forward. The successful candidate will need to be a strong character who can confidently manage subcontractors, maintain standards and communicate effectively with the Principal Contractor and wider site teams.
Equally important is the ability to remain diplomatic and professional under pressure whilst operating within a demanding construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of subcontract works on site
- Coordination of labour and daily site activities
- Monitoring programme and maintaining progress
- Maintaining health & safety standards
- Liaising with site management teams and subcontractors
- Resolving on-site issues efficiently and professionally
- Maintaining quality throughout delivery
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Site Manager
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid essential
- Strong subcontractor management experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects preferred
Rate: £240 – £270 per day dependant on experience
Duration: 8 Weeks
