An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Van Driver to join the team at ASM Auto

Recycling, one of the UK’s most modern and professional vehicle salvage agents and

parts recyclers, based in Thame, Oxfordshire.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will be

responsible for collecting and transporting motorcycles, electric bikes, scooters along with Personal Light Electric Vehicles (PLEVs) from customers, dealerships, garages and

insurance partners throughout the UK.

The successful candidate will play an important role in providing a professional and efficient collection service while representing the company to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

· Driving a company van to collect and transport motorcycles, electric bikes,

scooters and other PLEVs.

· Loading and securing vehicles safely for transportation.

· Collecting vehicles from private customers, dealerships, workshops and storage locations.

· Completing collection paperwork and vehicle condition reports.

· Providing excellent customer service during collections and deliveries.

· Maintaining high standards of vehicle care, cleanliness and road safety.

The essential qualities required for the role include:

· Full UK driving licence

· Previous driving and delivery experience are desirable but not essential.

· Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.

· Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload.

· Physically fit and capable of loading and securing motorcycles and PLEVs safely.

· Professional manner with good communication skills.

· Must be able to pass an advanced police vetting check

Working Hours

Monday to Friday – 6:45am to 4:45pm

Please note that due to operational requirements and customer commitments, start

and finish times may vary. A flexible approach to working hours is therefore required.

Salary: – £30.5K – £32K + Monthly Bonus

· The salary is dependent upon experience and reviewed once the 3-month probationary period has been successfully completed.

Pay: £30,500.00-£32,000.00 per year
