As part of a national Talking Therapies programme, Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, are recruiting into a number of salaried trainee positions to work across their Step 2 services within Wigan, Trafford and Bolton
We would like to recruit Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners into salaried 1-year trainee positions, with a possible offer of permanent future employment in one of our services upon successful completion of the training. We are looking for people with a commitment to scientific practice with a willingness to learn new skills and a desire to improve the health and wellbeing of people with common mental disorders.

The interviews will be taking place the week commencing 22nd June 2026 across all GMMH sites. Dates and venues will be offered on a first come first serve basis. Due to the high volume of interviews required for this post, no alternate dates will be offered.
Services are committed to supporting recovery for people with anxiety and depression-related problems, including people with long term physical health conditions such as diabetes and respiratory problems.
