We are seeking a motivated Trainee Accountant (Graduate / AAT Qualified) to join our dynamic finance team. Duties

• Assist with day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable processing
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with company standards
• Utilise accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, and other relevant platforms to maintain accurate financial records
• Contribute to bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance
• Help with data entry and document organisation to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Collaborate with senior accountants on various financial projects and audits
• Participate in mentoring programmes to develop professional skills and industry knowledge
• Provide administrative support related to financial management tasks as required

Qualifications

• Graduate or AAT qualified accountant with relevant certification or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of financial services and financial management principles
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Eagerness to learn and develop technical accounting skills in a professional setting
• Prior experience in accounts payable or financial accounting is advantageous but not essential
