We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Manager to oversee the organisation’s financial reporting processes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements and reports. Duties

• Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with recognised accounting standards.
• Oversee the organisation’s financial reporting calendar, ensuring all deadlines are met efficiently.
• Manage and review the organisation’s accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant programmes to maintain accurate financial records.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard organisational assets and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with finance teams to improve reporting procedures and optimise utilisation of accounting systems.
• Monitor changes in financial regulations and standards to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Prepare detailed reports for senior management to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in financial management or accounting roles, with a focus on financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant programmes.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Sound knowledge of UK accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA are preferred but not essential. This role is ideal for a motivated finance professional eager to utilise their expertise in a dynamic environment where precision and compliance are paramount.

Pay: £57,362.11-£59,236.46 per year
