They are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee projects at Newcastle Airport. With responsibility for daily site operations you will help ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This will include:

• Ensuring all Operatives and Subcontractors are: properly inducted onto Site/Issued with and use the correct PPE/Work in a safe manner/Competent and have the necessary qualifications to carry out works to the highest quality standards
• Observing and maintaining all Health and Safety and Environmental Management standards
• Establishing standards of Quality on Site and ensuring delivery of build in accordance with project specifications and requirements
• Understanding clients’ priorities and adopting a professional and considerate approach ensuring excellent working relationships are maintained.

Applicants should possess previous experience of ‘hands on’ management and delivery of Construction/Civil engineering projects. You will possess a ‘can do’ attitude coupled with the ability to challenge the status quo and make things happen. CSCS card is essential with SSSTS/SMSTS accreditation being an advantage. Driving Licence essential.
