Window to the Womb & firstScan (windowtothewomb.co.uk) is a specialist in providing diagnostic pregnancy and gynaecology scans. Scans include gender, 4D, early pregnancy, and fertility-focused gynaecology scans. We also provide a wide-range of blood tests for women and men.
At our clinic in Hull, we are looking for motivated and hard-working individuals to join our team, assisting sonographers (who perform the scans) in providing a professional and memorable experience to our customers and their families.
Weekends are our busiest times and we are looking for someone to work weekends, either Saturday or Sunday, and sometimes both, and some weekdays (afternoons and evenings).
The role
With our pregnancy scans, your working day involves introducing parents to their unborn baby, sometimes for the first time.
The role provides the vital link between the clinician performing the scans (sonographer) and the customer and their family, ensuring that from the moment the customer arrives, their experience is optimised and the relationship is fully developed. We are looking for confident and outgoing individuals, who are team players and who will operate in a professional, caring and friendly manner.
Successful candidates should have the ability to build a strong rapport with our families; they should be mature and sensitive – something that is particularly essential in our early pregnancy clinic, and whenever there are medical issues identified with a baby during a scan.
We are looking for someone to work weekends and occasional weekday shifts. Following a training and bedding-in period, there may be additional hours and shifts availability in due course..
