Overview

We are seeking an organised and proactive Sales & Marketing Administrator to join our team. The role will support both the sales and marketing functions of the business, ensuring customer enquiries are handled efficiently and administrative processes are maintained to a high standard.

This position would suit someone with strong communication and organisational skills, who is able to manage a varied workload and work effectively across different departments within the business.

Duties

• Act as first point of contact for all inbound customer correspondence and telephone calls, ensuring enquiries are distributed and actioned appropriately.
• Support the marketing function in the business and arrangement of trade shows, conferences, events, publications, advertisements, literature, and merchandise.
• Deal promptly and efficiently with customer enquiries and instructions from sales staff.
• Maintain up-to-date sales records and provide administration support to the sales function.
• Liaise effectively with development, accounts, production, and logistics departments regarding sales-related matters.
• Maintain tight credit control procedures, ensuring correct credit cover is in place where possible.
• Maintain price lists, costings, and quotations, and follow up quotations where required.
• Contact existing customers by phone and email to generate orders.
• Prepare and maintain sales reports for sales executives and management meetings.
• Process sales orders using the Tropos system.
• Assist the marketing team with the coordination of events, conferences, and trade shows, including arranging power, transport, storage, furniture, invoices, and related requirements.
• Act as a point of contact between Don & Low and Savvy Partners for marketing communications requirements.
• Liaise with publishing houses regarding advertorials and editorials.
• Order promotional literature and merchandise.
• Provide support for any additional marketing and merchandising requirements as needed.

Skills and Experience

• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Confident using Microsoft Office packages including Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous administration experience would be a great advantage.
• Ability to develop knowledge of company products and services.
