Pickup Delivery Driver – Bothwell
The Builders Supply Company Ltd
The Builders Supply Company Ltd is looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking Pickup Driver to join our team based at our Bothwell branch.
This role involves delivering building materials to trade and domestic customers throughout the local area, ensuring deliveries are made safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver building materials to customer sites and addresses using company pickup vehicle
- Load and unload materials safely
- Daily vehicle checks and upkeep
- Assist with yard duties when required
- Maintain delivery paperwork and notes
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Previous delivery driving experience preferred
- Experience within a builders merchant, construction supply, or similar distribution environment preferred but not essential
- Previous experience delivering building materials would be advantageous
- Good local area knowledge
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
Physical Requirements
This role involves regular lifting, carrying, and handling of building materials, and applicants should be comfortable undertaking a physically demanding role involving manual handling throughout the working day.
