Overview
Crescent Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team in providing essential support within our pharmacy setting. The ideal candidate will assist in various pharmacy activities to ensure the smooth running of the Pharmacy. This is a unique opportunity for someone that wants to develop and enhance their skills in an environment that is fully automated. The Pharmacy has two robots. The role requires commitment and motivation to learn. The candidate’s learning process will be fully supported by the management team.
Duties
– Support pharmacists in dispensing medications and maintaining accurate records
– Assist with medication administration and prescription processing
– Provide excellent patient care and customer service
– work with the team to put stock away
– Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones and processing paperwork
– Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards
Skills
– Experience in terms of NVQ Level 2 Dispensing certificate is desirable but not essential
– Proficiency in medication administration procedures
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling prescriptions and medications
– Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, healthcare professionals and the Pharmacy Team
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritising tasks.
It is important that the candidate provides a positive ‘can do’ attitude to support the management team.
Salary will be discussed at interview and is subject to experience.
