Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering medicine safely and efficiently to our patients. Due to the demographic of our delivery patients and the sensitivity of the role, the role requires patience, kindness and efficiency. You must uphold confidentiality and follow our policies. The position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare environment, ensuring patients receive their medication promptly and securely.
We currently have 2 pharmacies, one in Ealing (W5 4RJ) and one in Fulham (SW6 6TE). you will be employed as full time and will carry out deliveries daily for both pharmacies.
Duties
- Safely deliver prescriptions and pharmacy products to patients’ homes within designated areas
- Ensure accurate delivery by verifying recipient details and obtaining necessary signatures upon receipt
- Understanding some urgency of deliveries
- Communicate effectively with patients and our teams and being patient yourself.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries
- Keep detailed records of deliveries made and failed
- Report any issues promptly to management
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred particularly within pharmacy, courier, or logistics sectors
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with patients and team members

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
