Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate live-in carer to provide high-quality, person-centred support to a client in Stratford, East London. This is a stable, long-term position offering a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone’s daily life.
The role follows a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation, giving you excellent work-life balance alongside meaningful, fulfilling work.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support with medication management according to care plans
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to minimise feelings of loneliness
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in health status
- Assist with light household tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and organising personal spaces
- Liaise with healthcare professionals and family members as required
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the client at all times

Skills
- Driving licence and ability to travel between locations as needed
- Experience working within a care home or providing home care services
- Knowledge of developing and following care plans tailored to individual needs
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Proficient IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ wellbeing
