KS1 Phase Leader job at North London Full Time NEW

A friendly and ambitious primary school in Islington is seeking an experienced and motivated teacher to join their leadership team as KS1 Phase Leader from September 2026 on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong classroom practitioner looking to take the next step into leadership within a supportive and forward-thinking school.

The successful candidate will:

• Have strong experience teaching within KS1
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Be passionate about raising attainment and pupil progress
• Have the ability to lead, motivate, and support a team effectively
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons with high expectations for all pupils
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

The role will include:

• Leading the KS1 phase across Year 1 and Year 2
• Supporting teaching and learning across the phase
• Monitoring progress and attainment
• Coaching and supporting staff development
• Working closely with senior leadership to drive standards and school improvement

Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR (£45,000 – £62,000 depending on experience)
