Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures using various materials and techniques. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including commercial, and industrial buildings. The ideal applicant will possess a strong background in carpentry and related trades, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

• Construct, install, and repair wooden frameworks, fixtures, and structures in accordance with technical drawings and specifications
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and efficiently
• Experience fitting Fire doors would be advantageous but not essential
• Be flexible in roles carried out as we are a small team.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects
• Conduct routine inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Joiner or in a similar carpentry role
• Experience with commercial driving is advantageous but not essential
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the construction industry
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry or related trades are preferred
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications effectively
