Full job description
We are seeking a reliable and versatile Hybrid Delivery Driver to support both our delivery and servicing operations. The successful candidate will assist with the delivery and collection of towable welfare units during busy periods, while also operating 3.5-tonne flatbed tanker vehicles across customer sites. This role combines professional driving responsibilities with basic servicing, maintenance, and customer support duties to ensure all equipment remains safe, clean, and fully operational.
The ideal candidate will have experience towing trailers, operating commercial vehicles, and working independently in a field-based environment. A proactive attitude, strong time management skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities Driving & Deliveries
- Deliver and collect towable welfare units safely and efficiently to customer locations.
- Operate Transit/Sprinter tanker vehicles for servicing and replenishment duties.
- Conduct daily vehicle and trailer safety inspections.
- Ensure loads are secured and transported in compliance with road safety regulations.
Servicing & Maintenance
- Service welfare units on-site, including:
- Water refills
- Waste removal
- Replenishing toiletries
- Basic maintenance checks
- Report faults, damages, or repair requirements promptly.
Essential
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience towing trailers or welfare units.
- Experience driving Transit, Sprinter, or similar commercial vehicles.
- Good understanding of vehicle safety checks and basic maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
Desirable
- Experience operating tanker vehicles.
- Knowledge of welfare cabin servicing or site equipment.
- Mechanical or maintenance background.
