HSE Advisor, HSE managers job at London Full Time

Northgate Talent are currently seeking experienced and motivated HSE Advisors, HSE Coordinators, and HSE Managers to support multiple ongoing and upcoming contracts across various project locations throughout London and Manchester.

The successful candidates will be responsible for promoting and maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across a range of construction, engineering, industrial, and commercial projects. Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor workplace activities and identify potential hazards or unsafe practices.
• Prepare and review RAMS, safety documentation, permits, and compliance reports.
• Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings to site personnel.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, carrying out root cause analysis where required.
• Support operational and management teams with HSE guidance and best practices.
• Ensure all projects comply with current UK legislation and company procedures.
• Liaise with contractors, site managers, and clients to maintain safe working environments.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Promote continuous improvement and a positive health & safety culture across all sites.

Requirements:

• Previous experience within a Health & Safety role is essential.
• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate preferred.
• Strong understanding of UK HSE legislation and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work across different project environments.
• Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering, rail, utilities, or industrial sectors is advantageous.
• CSCS card and additional industry certifications are beneficial depending on role level.
• Strong report writing and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
