Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and welcoming Hotel Receptionist to join our front desk team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
• Manage reservations efficiently via phone, email, and online booking systems
• Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services to guests
• Handle guest enquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction
• Process payments accurately using the hotel’s point-of-sale system
• Maintain a tidy and organised reception area at all times
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs and requests
• Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure safety and security for all guests and staff

Skills

• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are highly desirable
• Bilingual proficiency is advantageous for serving diverse guest populations
• Previous hotel experience or background in guest services is preferred but not essential
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated hospitality skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations diplomatically
• Knowledge of hospitality software systems is beneficial but not mandatory
