Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, construction, and general site upkeep. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in renovation works, building, and maintenance. The ideal applicant will be proactive, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems safely and effectively
- Support construction activities by handling materials, preparing sites, and performing basic building tasks
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with the installation and repair of irrigation systems and other horticultural features
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
Requirements
- Previous experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment such as excavators is advantageous
- Basic understanding of irrigation systems and site maintenance procedures
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, digging, and operating machinery for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety awareness
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Valid personal identification demonstrating eligibility to work in the UK
