Job Overview
We are seeking a Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to work collaboratively with others.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
- Perform general site maintenance and cleanliness
- Follow instructions from supervisors and assist skilled tradespeople as needed
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery safely
- Support the construction or manufacturing process by performing manual tasks
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Report any hazards or incidents to management promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in a labour-intensive role is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
- Strong communication skills to understand instructions clearly
- Physical fitness to handle demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
