We are seeking a highly motivated, confident individual for this newly created Training Coordinator role. The successful candidate is required to deliver excellent customer service to both our external clients and internal delivery teams of remote Assessors and Business Development specialists.

This role will primarily focus on the effective and timely delivery of the centre training administrative and coordination tasks associated with the timely delivery of competency-based training/qualifications and apprenticeships.

Main Responsibilities

• Work with existing Centre Coordinator to ensure day to day, coordination and administration management of the various apprenticeship, vocational and accredited training courses/programmes, in line with their respective awarding body requirements, including registration, learner progress, funding claims and certification processes
• Update scheduled training courses onto online training platform (Dante)
• Prepare training materials and issue joining instructions for scheduled training
• Liaise with internal assessment and delivery team to track learner progress and processing of online milestone funding claims
• Ensure accuracy of data management systems and learner records
• Book online H&S tests and process industry related competency card applications
• Liaise with clients on any training requirements and promote training opportunities to new and existing clients
• Distribution of course completion certificates and competency cards
• Support with external audit and external verification visits
• General administrative and coordination duties as and when required

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Training Co-ordinator or similar role.
• Maths & English GCSE’s at Grade C or equivalent standard
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) including the confidence to work within a team environment and liaise with existing and prospective customers is essential
• Knowledge and experience of using various Microsoft software is essential including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to work independently and use own initiative
• A natural organiser with the determination to succeed, the ability to prioritise your workload and a keen eye for detail

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Construction Industry environment would be beneficial
• Knowledge of construction training, vocational qualifications and apprenticeships would be beneficial.

Working Arrangements

• Part time role, 25 hours per week split across 5 days – Monday to Friday and between the working hours 9am – 5pm
• This role will be predominantly based at our head office in Chorley with flexibility for home working, where agreed
• Office car parking is provided

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
