Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our fire and flood restoration team. The successful candidates will be responsible for restoring properties affected by water and fire damage, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the process. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in restoration techniques, utilise hand and power tools, and contribute to helping clients recover from devastating events. All positions are paid, including internships, with a focus on safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assess damaged areas to determine necessary restoration procedures
• Remove debris, damaged materials, and standing water using hand tools and power tools
• Operate construction equipment safely to facilitate the drying and cleaning process
• Use hand tools such as sledgehammers, crowbars, and shovels to dismantle damaged structures
• Apply specialised cleaning agents and techniques to restore affected surfaces
• Assist in the installation of drying equipment and monitor progress
• Follow health and safety protocols at all times during restoration activities
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety and efficiency

Requirements

• Previous experience with hand tools, construction work, or power tools is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in physically demanding situations
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new skills related to fire and flood restoration processes
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and adhere to safety guidelines
• Flexibility to work in various environments, including confined or challenging spaces
