Role Summary
We are looking for a smart, analytical and highly organised Finance & Data Analyst to work alongside our finance lead and support the day-to-day financial and operational reporting of the business.
This role would suit someone degree educated, confident with numbers and spreadsheets, and keen to be trained and developed within a growing company.
This is not a basic admin role. We need someone who can work accurately, spot issues, question figures, identify trends and help keep the business reporting clear and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Reporting
Update and maintain financial trackers and reporting documents.
Support with revenue tracking, cost tracking and performance reports.
Assist with preparing weekly and monthly reports for management.
Ensure financial data is accurate, consistent and up to date.
Highlight missing, incorrect or unusual figures quickly.
Data Management
Consolidate data from different sources into clear reports.
Analyse figures to identify trends, issues and opportunities.
Keep spreadsheets and trackers organised and accurate.
Support with improving how data is recorded and reported.
Help automate repetitive spreadsheet tasks where possible.
Administrative Support
Maintain finance and operational documents.
Assist with data entry and record keeping where required.
Prepare summaries and reports for review.
Follow up on missing or incomplete information.
Required Skills & Experience
Degree educated preferred, ideally in finance, business, economics, maths, accounting or a related subject.
Strong relevant experience will also be considered.
Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Confident working with numbers and reports.
Highly organised and reliable.
Strong communication skills.
Able to work independently and take initiative.
Keen to learn and be trained.
