Job Purpose

To assist and support the Finance Manager with the following:

• Business analysis
• Management accounts
• Client accounts
• Balance sheet
• Profit and loss account
• Cashflow
• Payroll
• Bank Reconciliation
• Periodical Control Account Reconciliation
• HR – Holidays, employment contracts (permanent & contractors), reviews, implementing HR policies and procedures
• Contract management
• Filing, archiving

The role is required to hold an immediate understanding of trading performance of the business regarding the above.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform daily/weekly/periodically clients reconciliation to RSP reporting data
• Assistance with management accounts
• Monitor daily cash position alerting Finance Manager of any emerging risks
• Raising invoices, credit notes and general credit control and liaising with customers and suppliers and resolving issues.
• Measure debtor and creditor days and optimise to the benefit of the Company
• Responsible for holiday schedule, employment contracts (permanent & contractors)
• Reviews and improving standards, implementing HR policies and procedures

Education and Experience

• Part qualified accountancy qualification ( ACCA, CIMA , AAT ) desirable with minimum 2 years hands on experience in a finance environment.
• Demonstrable experience of working in management accounting
• Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques
• Display an ability to work quickly and accurately in analysing data
• Good computer skills ( Excel and Word )
• A requirement to conduct tasks in a discreet and confidential manner
• Attending board meeting and taking minutes
• Experience in using Exact accounting software or any similar software

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
