Finance & Accounts Administrator

Location: Manchester (office-based)

Pay:

• £14–£16 per hour during probation period (based on experience)
• £25,000 – £29,000 salary following successful probation

Hours:
8-hour working day (including 30-minute lunch break)

As the business continues to grow, we’re looking for a reliable and organised Finance & Accounts Administrator to support the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the company.

This is a varied role within a close-knit team, ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, staying organised, and helping keep a fast-moving business running efficiently.

The Role

You’ll be supporting the finance and operations side of the business, helping manage daily accounts processes, bookkeeping, reporting, and general administration.

The role will involve a mixture of:

• Finance & bookkeeping
• Accounts administration
• Reporting & tracking
• General business support/admin

Key ResponsibilitiesFinance & Accounts

• Accounts payable & receivable
• Raising and processing invoices, quotes, and purchase orders
• Bank reconciliation and bookkeeping using Xero
• Assisting with payroll administration
• Managing supplier/customer payment tracking
• Supporting month-end financial processes

Reporting & Tracking

• Tracking departmental profits and job performance using Monday.com
• Updating internal financial trackers and records
• Assisting management with reporting and operational oversight

General Administration

• Booking hotels, meetings, and travel where required
• Supporting day-to-day business administration
• Organising documents, records, and internal systems
• Assisting directors and management team with ad hoc admin tasks

Skills & ExperienceEssential

• Basic understanding of financial/admin processes
• Familiarity with invoices, quotes, purchase orders, and bookkeeping
• Good IT/computer skills
• Strong organisational ability and attention to detail

Desirable (but not essential)

• Experience using Xero
• Experience using Monday.com
• Payroll or bookkeeping experience
• Previous finance, accounts, or office administration experience

Progression & Package

• Start on a probationary hourly rate of £14–£16 per hour depending on experience
• Move onto a £25k–£29k salary following successful probation
