We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Kitchen Hand to join our busy hospitality team. This role is vital in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that all culinary operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen eye for cleanliness, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

• Responsible for cleaning and sanitising dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, supporting chefs and kitchen staff during service.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, work surfaces, and storage spaces.
• Organise and store clean items appropriately to ensure efficient workflow.
• Support the team during busy periods by helping with serving or other hospitality duties as needed.
• Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
• Knowledge of restaurant or hotel operations and culinary practices is advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
