Delivery Driver – Cardiff job at Cardiff Full Time NEW

Nextway UK is looking for reliable and professional Delivery Drivers to join our team in Cardiff. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering goods safely, efficiently and on time while providing a professional service to customers.

This role is ideal for motivated drivers who can work independently, manage delivery routes effectively and maintain high standards of punctuality, safety and customer care.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles in line with UK road laws and company procedures
• Collect, load and deliver parcels or goods to assigned locations
• Follow planned routes and complete deliveries within expected timeframes
• Use delivery apps or systems to update delivery progress where required
• Load and unload goods safely, including manual handling when necessary
• Communicate clearly with dispatchers, customers and the operations team
• Maintain accurate delivery records and report any delivery issues promptly
• Carry out basic vehicle checks and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Support warehouse or depot tasks when required

Requirements

• Valid UK driving licence
• Right to work in the UK
• Previous delivery, courier or multi-drop driving experience preferred
• Good knowledge of Cardiff and surrounding areas
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Physically able to carry out loading, unloading and manual handling tasks
• Smartphone with mobile data may be required for route and delivery updates
• Clean driving record preferred
