The Liver Unit at Birmingham Children’s Hospital is one of three national specialist units that provides medical care, surgical care and transplantation for children with liver and intestinal diseases looking after 2,000 children per year, performing around 35 -40 liver and intestinal transplants each year. The Liver unit has a national and international reputation in delivering excellent family centered care to the patients with results comparable or better than national and international standards.

The post holder will be responsible for data input for Liver Unit research studies, working primarily on the AI Graft fibrosis study. Provide updates regarding data input at study team meetings both internally and with external collaborators. With attention to detail and expert database knowledge, you will liaise with the Liver unit Research team, and the wider Liver Unit MDT to ensure a high standard, accurate data capture for Liver Research within the unit.
The post holder will be office based in the Liver Unit at the Birmingham Children’s Hospital, working in the Research Team.
