Responsibilities

• Assist young adults.
• Support clients with daily activities in accordance with individual care plans
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ wellbeing
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Use IT systems to update care records and communicate effectively within the team

Experience

• Previous experience working with young adults with mental health disabilities is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
• Knowledge of care plans and ability to implement them effectively
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, for clear communication
• Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes
• Excellent communication skills, empathetic nature, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential
